2020 Symposium on Health Policy and McKenna Lecture
February 27, 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 8:00 pm
2020 Health Sector Supply Chain Symposium: Improving Healthcare through Transparency and Collaboration.
Transparency is a critical issue as we enter an era of value-based health care. The Institute of Medicine defines healthcare transparency as making available to the public, in a reliable, and understandable manner, information on the health care system’s quality, efficiency and consumer experience with care, which includes price and quality data, so as to influence the behavior of patients, providers, payers, and others to achieve better outcomes (quality and cost of care). The Symposium brings together leaders from across the health sector to explore the most recent issues in this area.
The Symposium is held at the Memorial Union on the ASU Tempe campus. Registration begins @ 12:30 and adjourns at 4:30.
